 Day 01 : Arrive Bangalore
Arrive Bangalore. Upon arrival at Airport / Railway Station and transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Lal Bagh -Botanical Gardens, the 16th Century Bull Temple, Vidhana Soudha- Visveswaraiah Industrial & Technology Museum. Overnight Stay.
Day 02 : Bangalore -Mysore
Departure to Mysore ( 140 kms. / 3.5 hrs. ). Enroute Visit Srirangapatna -(Tippu Sultan's Island Capital,). Afternoon visit Chamundeswari Temple, Maharaia's Palace, and enjoy light & sound fountains at the Brindavan Gardens. Overnight Stay.
Day 03 : Mysore-Ooty
After an early breakfast, depart for Ooty (160 kms. / 4.5 hrs. ), the Queen of Hill Stations. Upon arrival, Check into hotel. Afternoon visit Botanical Gardens and the Scenic Ooty Lake where you may enjoy an optional boat ride. Overnight Stay.
Day04 : Ooty-Kodaikanal
After breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal (268 kms. / 7 hrs.), a charming hill station Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay.
Day 05 : Kodaikanal
Today you will visit the Shenbaganur Museum which houses one of the best Orchid Collections in India, the coakers walk on the Steep Southern face of the Kodai ridge with its Telescope House and the picturesque Kodai Lake. Overnight Stay.
Day 06 : Kodaikanal- Kanyakumari
Depart to Kanyakumari (324 kms. /7 hrs.), the land's end of India, is a meeting point of the great seas-the Indian ocean, the Arabian sea and the Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival, check into Hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 07 : Kanyakumari -Madurai
Enjoy sunrise at Kanyakumari. Take a ferry boat to Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Visit Kanyakumari Mandir, Gandhi Mandapam and Trisamudra Milan. Later, depart to Madurai (235 kms. /4.5 hrs. ). Check into Hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 08 : Madurai -Rameswaram
Morning visit the world famous Meenakshi Temple built by Pandava Dynasty, the most perfect example of Dravidian Architecture. Later drive to Rameswaram ( 172 kms. /4 hrs. ). Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 09 : Rameswaram- (Gateway to Sri Lanka) -Tanjore
Early Morning visit Rameswaram Mandir (Shiva Temple) for Sphatik Shivling Darshan and have a bath in the 22 Teerthams. Later drive to Trichy (225 kms. /5 hrs. ). Visit the largest temple of Lord Vishnu at Srirangam, situated on 600 acres island between the rivers Kaveri and Kolladam. Depart to Tanjore ( 55 kms. / 1.5 hrs. ). Overnight Stay.
Day 10 : Tanjore -Pondicherry -Mahabalipuram
Morning visit the famous Brihadeshwara Shiva temple (built by Chola Kings). Here you can see Giant Nandi, carved in a single stone, which is considered to be the second largest in India. Later drive to Mahabalipuram (250 kms. / 5 hrs.). Enroute halt at Pondicherry to visit Shri AurobindoAshram, Ganesh Mandir. Upon arrival at Mahaoallpuram, check into Hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 11 : Mahabalipuram-Kanch ipuram -Tirupati
Morning visit Pallavas Panch Rathas, Arjun Shillanyas, Seashore temple and then drive to Kanchipuram{ 70 kms. / 1.5 hrs. ) Visit Shiv Kanchi and Vishnu Kanchi temples (Center of Hindu Religion in South}. Later proceed to Tirupati (105 kms. / 2.5 hrs. ). Upon arrival at Tirupati, check into hotel. Over night stay.
Day 12 : Tirupati -Chennai
After Shri Balaji Darshan on Tirumala Hills (Richest God in the world visited by millions of Devotees every year) proceed to Chennai (180 kms. /4 hrs.). Upon arrival, check into hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 13 : Chennai
After breakfast, proceed to sight seeing tour of the City visiting Kapaleshwar temple, Fort St. George, Government Museum. Afternoon time for shopping. You may spend sometime in Marina beach in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Depart Chennai
Transfer to Airport / Railway station for onward journey. Tour concludes. |
